DOMESTIC COUPLE NEEDED // BRENTWOOD PARK, CA-LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

Clients with a primary residence in Brentwood Park seek an experienced Domestic Couple to support day-to-day operations across a 2-acre estate with multiple structures. This is a live-out role while principals reside in Los Angeles, with housing provided at their East Coast residence during extended stays there. Travel will be opening closing east coast estate, getting principals settled there, working for a few weeks and then returning to the west coast property to continue maintaining and doing special projects during their absence. Dog sitting at times may be required (2 lovely family pets).

The ideal couple offers a combination of high-level housekeeping, laundry with excellent ironing skills, handyman support, driving, vendor coordination, pet care, plus a calm, service-focused presence. Principals have a chef, exterior vendors for pool and grounds, plus a Chief of Staff, so this couple will integrate into an existing team, help keep the property running smoothly, create a warm, welcoming environment for visiting family and be proactive and productive with projects. Local candidates only, no relocation offered 

Requirements

 Housekeeper role

• Full-charge housekeeping across all property structures

• Laundry for principals; high-quality ironing for garments, linens

• Closet care, wardrobe organization, seasonal changeovers, packing/unpacking

• Support for guest arrivals, holiday visits, family stays

• Pet-friendly; comfort around two dogs

• Other duties and projects as needed

Handyman/driver role

• General property upkeep for exterior living areas, patios, walkways

• Maintenance for pool, Japanese soaking tub, outdoor spaces (in coordination with existing vendors)

• Basic painting projects, off-season touch-ups

• Ability to unclog toilets, reset breakers, troubleshoot light electrical issues

• Basic tech to support Wi-Fi, simple AV resets, smart-home basics

• Care for household vehicles; maintain cleanliness, fuel, simple scheduling for service

• Driving principals as needed for local errands, appointments, airport runs

Shared estate support

• Daily visual inspections across main residence, guest house, office, gym

• Proactive reporting of maintenance issues to Chief of Staff

• Coordination with pool, grounds, exterior vendors already in place

• Occasional travel to East Coast residence, which is fully staffed; support principals while in residence there

Qualifications

• Prior experience (minimum of 5 years together) as a Domestic Couple in a private residence, estate, or similar high-service environment

• Strong housekeeping background for one partner; high-level handyman, driver, maintenance skill set for the other

• Experience supporting older principals; comfort with visiting grandchildren during holidays or school breaks

• Pet-friendly; comfort with two dogs on property

• High level of discretion, professionalism, confidentiality

• Team-focused mindset; ability to collaborate with chef, exterior vendors, Chief of Staff

• Excellent communication skills; proactive, solution-oriented approach

• Valid driver’s license for both partners; clean driving records

• Availability to travel on occasion to East Coast residence for periods up to several months

Location: Brentwood Park, Los Angeles, CA (primary residence) with travel to secondary East Coat residence

Schedule: Full-time schedule, typically five days per week. Daytime hours with flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, holidays as needed for travel or visiting family. Occasional extended stays on East Coast during summer or other periods when principals relocate there

Salary: $45-50/hour per person (DOE). Benefits to include: health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, plus standard holidays as offered by principal. Local candidates only, no relocation offered
