HOUSEKEEPER NEEDED // MANHATTAN BEACH, CA

Position: Housekeeper 

Location: Manhattan Beach, CA

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation: $28/hour, on payroll

A warm, busy family in Manhattan Beach is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper who is as strong in home organization as in cleaning. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in creating order, maintaining systems, and keeping a home running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-charge housekeeping: deep cleaning, daily maintenance, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, linens, and general tidiness

• Home organization is a major part of the role — especially managing and maintaining organization of children’s toys and household items (everything has a place and we’d like it kept that way)

• Keeping storage areas, drawers, closets, and common spaces orderly and functional

• Noticing when systems can be improved and taking initiative to maintain organization

• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the home

Household Environment

• Family home with two children and stairs

• While childcare is not part of the job, the candidate should be comfortable working in an active family environment and be flexible when children are home

• Awareness of safety, especially on stairs and around kids’ items, is important

Ideal Candidate

• 1-2 years of housekeeping in private homes

• Naturally organized, detail-focused, and proactive

• Physically comfortable with stairs and an active household setting

• Trustworthy, punctual, and consistent

• Able to work independently and maintain established home systems
