HOUSEKEEPER NEEDED // MANHATTAN BEACH, CA

Location: Manhattan Beach, CA

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation: $40 per hour, paid on payroll

Position Overview

A private family in Manhattan Beach is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain a clean, organized, and well-kept home. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a private residence or an established hotel, such as Marriott or Sheraton, and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and household care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning and routine maintenance cleaning throughout the home.

• Clean and maintain kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and other household spaces.

• Handle laundry, including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and putting clothing and linens away as needed.

• Organize closets, cabinets, drawers, and other household areas.

• Maintain an orderly home environment and ensure household items are properly stored.

• Care for household surfaces, furnishings, fixtures, and finishes using appropriate cleaning products and techniques.

• Identify areas requiring additional attention or periodic deep cleaning.

• Monitor cleaning supplies and communicate when products need to be replenished.

• Work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks to ensure responsibilities are completed during scheduled hours.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous professional housekeeping experience in a private residence or an established hotel, such as Marriott or Sheraton.

• Experience with deep cleaning, routine maintenance cleaning, laundry, and household organization.

• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.

• Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently.

• Knowledge of appropriate cleaning products, techniques, and the care of different household materials.

• Professional, discreet, and respectful of the family’s privacy.

• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
