MOTHER'S HELPER NEEDED // LOS ANGELES, CA

A kind and creative family with a sweet 5-year-old boy seeking a dedicated, all-around helper to join their family.

The family divides time between West Hollywood, Topanga, and the Hollywood Hills, and are looking for someone who is warm, dependable, and proactive in supporting their home and family routines.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate is a caring, experienced individual - grandmother energy (Swedish background is a plus) — who is organized, flexible, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities with calm and intuition. This role involves a combination of childcare, household chores, and general family assistance.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide attentive and nurturing care for our 5-year-old, including playtime, meals, and school pick-up/drop-off

•Maintain household tidiness and organization

•Handle laundry, errands, and light housekeeping tasks - such as dishes

•Assist with family routines, meal preparation, and travel as needed

•Demonstrate initiative and independence in anticipating household needs

Qualifications

•Prior experience in childcare 

•Warm, responsible, and reliable demeanor

•Strong organizational and communication skills

•Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle

•Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

Position Details

•Full-time role with compensation commensurate with experience

•Schedule includes after-school hours (Hollywood) and two live-in weekends per month (Topanga)

•Additional hours during school breaks, travel periods, and sick days as needed

•Primary work locations: Topanga and Hollywood Hills

•Payment in cash
