NANNY NEEDED // BRENTWOOD, CA

Position: Rotational Nanny (Full-Time, Live-Out)

Location: Brentwood, CA

Compensation: $35/hour + overtime

Schedule: Rotational (10–14 hour shifts), 3 days on, 4 days off or 4 days on and 3 days on. TBD

Benefits: 1 week paid vacation annually, guaranteed hours, overtime pay

Overview:

A high-profile family in Brentwood, California is seeking an experienced, professional, and dedicated rotational nanny to join their household team. The family is seeking care for five children (ages 5, 9, 10, 13 & 14) and employs a team of four full-time nannies. Two nannies are on duty at all times, working in shifts to ensure seamless, 7-day coverage.

This role requires a warm, engaging, and energetic individual who can multitask in a dynamic household, collaborate with other staff, and maintain a high level of discretion. The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive, and passionate about childcare and child development.

Schedule:

•Rotational schedule with 2 nannies on at all times

•10–14 hour shifts daily (e.g., 7am–9pm or 10am–8pm)

•Rotates across weekdays and weekends

•One paid week of vacation per year, One week paid sick leave and holiday pay

•Overtime eligible (California OT rules apply)

Duties Include:

•Daily care of up to 5 children alongside a co-nanny

•School drop-offs and pick-ups

•Transportation to extracurricular activities, classes, and playdates

•Supervising homework, play, and routines

•Packing for travel and occasional overnight support

•Maintaining a clean and safe environment

•Coordinating with parents and household staff as needed

•Attending birthday parties and family events as a childcare support

Qualifications:

•Minimum 5+ years of professional nanny experience

•Experience working in rotational teams or with multiple children

•Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (vehicle provided if needed)

•CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to update)

•Strong communication and organizational skills

•Ability to work in a fully staffed, fast-paced household

•Comfortable with high levels of discretion and confidentiality

•Background check, reference check, and NDA required prior to start
