PART-TIME MOTHER'S HELPER NEEDS // MANHATTAN BEACH, CA

A family of 4 in Manhattan Beach is seeking a part-time Mother’s Helper to support their household and care for two children: a newborn and a fun, energetic 4-year-old boy. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with children, is proactive around the home, and has experience with infants.

Schedule

Monday & Wednesday 7:15-2:15

Tuesday & Thursday 8:00-2:00pm

Compensation

$30/h 

Responsibilities

• Engage and play with a curious, talkative 4-year-old (arts and crafts, Legos, outdoor play, imaginative games, etc.)

• Provide care for the newborn, as needed

• Assist with light household tasks such as tidying up, toy organization, loading/unloading dishwasher, laundry and folding laundry

• Work alongside mom and dad  to keep the household running smoothly

Qualifications

• Prior experience caring for both preschool-aged children and newborns

• Energetic, patient, and playful personality with a love for engaging kids in creative activities

• Responsible, reliable, and proactive with household support

• Ideally located in or near Manhattan Beach

• Perfect for a student pursuing early childhood education, child development, or someone with flexible part-time availability
