Personal Assistant to Grammy-Winning Recording Artist

Location: Los Angeles, CA (based) — extensive domestic and international travel required

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Schedule: 24/7 on-call; must be available nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation: $150K. Travel expenses covered while on tour.

About the Role

A Grammy Award–winning recording artist, currently on tour, is seeking a highly experienced, discreet, and adaptable Personal Assistant. This is a demanding, fast-paced role supporting a high-profile artist across touring, studio sessions, public appearances, and daily personal life. The ideal candidate is unflappable, resourceful, and treats this as a lifestyle — not a 9-to-5.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage daily schedule, calendar, and logistics across time zones while on tour and off •Coordinate travel: flights, ground transportation, hotels, visas, and passport-related logistics

•Drive artist to sessions, appearances, airports, and personal errands as needed

•Act as a gatekeeper and point of contact between artist and management, label, tour staff, and vendors

•Handle personal errands: shopping, meal coordination, household management, gift purchasing

•Pack/unpack luggage and manage wardrobe logistics for shows and appearances

•Coordinate with tour manager, security, stylist, and other members of the artist’s team

•Manage confidential correspondence, documents, and personal matters with discretion

•Anticipate needs before they’re asked — proactive problem-solving is essential

•Handle last-minute changes, cancellations, and crises calmly and efficiently

•Maintain artist’s personal spaces (home, hotel rooms, greenroom/backstage areas)

•Run miscellaneous personal and professional errands as directed

•Maintain strict confidentiality regarding artist’s personal and professional life at all times

Requirements

•3–5+ years of experience as a Personal Assistant to a musician, rapper, or someone in the music or film or sports industry (non-negotiable)

•Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; comfortable driving in LA traffic

•Passport-ready and able to travel internationally on short notice

•Must understand and accept this is a 24/7, on-call position — including tour life, odd hours, and last-minute schedule changes

•Thick skin — able to take direction, criticism, and high-pressure moments without taking things personally

•Extremely discreet; comfortable signing an NDA

•Highly organized with excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills

•Calm under pressure; adaptable to constantly shifting plans

•Strong communication skills and professional demeanor with high-profile contacts

•Must be based in Los Angeles

•Comfortable with extended time away from home while touring
