About the Family

A warm, high-profile family based in Calabasas is seeking an experienced, energetic, and emotionally intelligent nanny to support their two children, ages 13 and 11, throughout the summer, with the potential for a long-term position during the school year.

This role is ideal for a professional who understands the unique balance required when working with tweens—someone who can build trust and meaningful connections while maintaining appropriate structure, boundaries, and expectations. The ideal candidate is engaging, proactive, and capable of creating enriching experiences that encourage growth, responsibility, creativity, and independence.

Responsibilities

●Provide attentive care and supervision for two children, ages 13 and 11

●Foster positive relationships while maintaining appropriate authority and structure

●Plan and coordinate engaging, age-appropriate activities, outings, and experiences

●Encourage personal development, responsibility, and healthy routines

●Create thoughtful, structured programming rather than relying solely on entertainment-based activities

●Assist with transportation to activities, appointments, and social engagements as needed

●Support daily schedules and household routines

● Communicate effectively with parents regarding schedules, activities, and children’s needs

●Adapt to changing schedules and family priorities with professionalism and flexibility

●Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times

Ideal Candidate

●Minimum of 4 years of professional nanny experience

●Significant experience working with school-aged children and/or tweens

●Naturally engaging, creative, and proactive

●Able to strike the balance between being relatable and maintaining healthy boundaries

●Understands that parents set the vision and household expectations and can confidently support and reinforce those values

●Highly organized, dependable, and self-motivated

●Flexible and comfortable with occasional long days, evenings, and changing schedules

●Open-minded, adaptable, and solutions-oriented

●Professional, polished, and discreet

● Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Requirements

●Minimum 4 years of professional childcare experience

● Excellent references

● Authorized to work in the United States

●Reliable transportation to work

●Weekend availability required

●Ability to work overtime as needed

Compensation & Benefits
