Our client's office is a small family-owned commercial real estate development company and property

management team overseeing over 25+ properties/entities in the Los Angeles, Oxnard,

Bakersfield, and Fresno areas.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper to help ease the load of office staff with various miscellaneous projects, and a strong focus on

Accounts Payables.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Heavy focus on accounts payables...processing & tracking invoices and payments for

vendors, inputting all vendor invoices through the Yardi Breeze and/or QuickBooks Online

accounting software. Printing & mailing checks, ensuring checks are signed by owner in a

timely manner. Assuring all vendors are paid on time, confirming accounts have enough

funds to cover payments being made, inputting any ACH/Auto Pay expenses into the

accounting software. Maintaining accurate vendor information, contacts, and keeping up to

date vendor W-9's for EOY tax purposes.


MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

General office duties ranging from: filing, scanning, answering phones, receiving packages,

ordering supplies, running errands, assisting staff with miscellaneous projects, assisting with

EOY tax preparations and working with accountant(s) when additional help is needed.


QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:

Education:

Highschool Diploma. Bachelor's or some college level experience preferred.


Experience:

Some basic accounting/bookkeeping experience and knowledge highly preferred.

Experience or understanding of the Accounts Payables process and the Administrative

Assistant duties. Experience using QuickBooks online and/or Yardi Breeze would be helpful

but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.


Other:

Knowledge of real estate practices would be helpful but not a must, mainly in the area of

commercial real estate development, property management, and real estate financing.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Some lifting of boxes, may require carrying them up and down stairs.

SCHEDULE:

Monday-Friday 9:00am-5/5:30pm
